Terms and Conditions

Website and service information terms for AOLS warehouse, logistics and operational consulting.

Last updated: 4 July 2026. These terms apply to use of the AOLS website and general enquiries made through it. They do not replace any signed proposal, scope of work, engagement letter, purchase order or written services agreement between AOLS and a client.

1. About this website

This website is operated for AOLS, a Perth-based logistics consulting business supporting warehouse, distribution, supply chain and operational improvement projects across Australia.

By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

2. Website information

The information on this website is provided for general business information only. It is intended to help organisations understand the types of logistics, warehouse, distribution and operational consulting services AOLS may provide.

Website content is not a substitute for advice based on your specific facility, operating environment, contracts, safety obligations, systems, budget or commercial requirements. AOLS may update, remove or change website content at any time.

3. Use of the website

You agree to use this website lawfully and in a way that does not interfere with the operation, security or availability of the website. You must not misuse the website, attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system, upload malicious code, scrape content at scale, or use website material in a misleading way.

4. Enquiries and project discussions

Submitting an enquiry, calling AOLS or discussing a potential project does not create a client engagement by itself. A project engagement only begins when AOLS and the client agree the relevant scope, fees, timing and commercial terms in writing.

AOLS may decline an enquiry or project request where the work is outside its expertise, capacity, availability or commercial requirements.

5. Consulting services

AOLS provides practical logistics consulting services that may include warehouse and distribution centre design advice, distribution network review, product slotting, lean warehousing support, logistics information system advice, project management support, safety-related storage reviews and archive or museum storage planning.

The exact services, deliverables, assumptions, exclusions, client responsibilities, fees and timeframes for any project should be confirmed in the applicable proposal, statement of work or written agreement.

6. Quotes, proposals and payment

Unless stated otherwise in writing, any quote or proposal provided by AOLS is valid only for the period stated in that document. AOLS may revise a quote or proposal if the project scope, assumptions, site conditions, data availability or required timing changes.

Payment terms, expenses, cancellation terms and any project-specific conditions will be set out in the relevant proposal, invoice or written agreement.

7. Client information and cooperation

Clients are responsible for providing accurate, complete and timely information needed for AOLS to perform the agreed services. This may include operational data, site information, layouts, constraints, stakeholder requirements, system information, safety requirements and other relevant project details.

AOLS is entitled to rely on information provided by the client or the client’s representatives unless it is clearly incomplete, inconsistent or incorrect.

8. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all website content, text, graphics, layouts, images, documents, methodologies, templates and other materials created or supplied by AOLS remain the intellectual property of AOLS or its licensors.

Clients may use agreed project deliverables for their internal business purposes, subject to payment of applicable fees and the terms of the relevant engagement. Website content may not be copied, republished, sold or adapted without written permission from AOLS.

9. Confidentiality

AOLS recognises that logistics projects may involve commercially sensitive information. Where confidential information is shared as part of an agreed project, AOLS will use reasonable care to keep that information confidential and use it only for the relevant project or as otherwise authorised.

Confidentiality obligations may be further detailed in a project agreement, non-disclosure agreement or other written terms.

10. Privacy and personal information

If you contact AOLS, AOLS may collect personal information such as your name, organisation, role, phone number, email address and enquiry details. This information is used to respond to your enquiry, manage business communications and support potential or current client work.

AOLS aims to handle personal information responsibly. Australian privacy requirements may apply to some businesses depending on their circumstances, and the Australian Privacy Principles set standards for handling personal information where the Privacy Act applies.

11. Third-party websites and tools

This website may contain links to third-party websites or use third-party tools, plugins, hosting, analytics or embedded services. AOLS is not responsible for the content, availability, privacy practices or security of third-party websites or services.

12. No guarantee of outcomes

AOLS aims to provide practical, commercially grounded recommendations based on the agreed scope and information available. However, operational outcomes can be affected by implementation decisions, staff adoption, supplier performance, technology, funding, site constraints, market conditions and other factors outside AOLS’ control.

Unless expressly agreed in writing, AOLS does not guarantee a specific financial, operational, safety, productivity or compliance outcome from general website information or consulting recommendations.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, AOLS is not liable for loss arising from use of this website, reliance on general website information, interruption to website availability, or third-party content linked from the website.

For client engagements, liability terms should be set out in the relevant proposal, agreement or other written terms. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any rights, guarantees or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified under Australian law, including the Australian Consumer Law where it applies.

14. Changes to these terms

AOLS may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The updated version will apply from the date it is published on this website.

15. Governing law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Western Australia and applicable Commonwealth laws of Australia. Any dispute relating to these website terms will be dealt with by the courts and tribunals with jurisdiction in Western Australia, unless otherwise required by law.
